4. 한국 등에서 전문대학교 2학년 이상 수료자; 또는

5. The New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (NZDE) 수료자로 평균 학점이 60% 이상자

그럼 좀 더 구체적으로 살펴 보도록 하겠습니다.

Engineering 등 2개의 세부 전공이 있습니다. 학생들은 1학년 때 공통 과목을 위주로 배운 후에 2학년 때부터 자신의 적성에 맞는 세부 전공을 집중적으로 공부하게 되고 3학년때에는 전공수업과 인턴쉽 등 현장실습을 통해서 전문 토목기사로 성장하게 됩니다.

학생들은 토목학에 관련된 기술과 지식을 우수한 교수진의 체계적인 강의를 통해서 배우고, 와이카토도청 토목직 공무원 양성 프로그램(Waikato District Council Waikato District Council Cadetships programme)과 같은 Co-Industry Project에 참여하여 실전기술을 익히게 됩니다.

그리하여 윈텍대학의 토목공학과 학생들은 산업현장에서 높게 평가받는 토목전문기사로 졸업하게 됩니다.

First Year

In the first year you'll study six broad engineering papers and two papers specific to your major, water and waste engineering or roading and transportation engineering.

· Water and Waste Engineering

Specialising in civil water and waste engineering you will gain an in depth knowledge of the principles and practice relating to: Water reticulation systems; the treatment and disposal of liquid and solid wastes; catchment run-off, erosion, water balances and sustainable land use; urban wastewater and storm water systems. You will be able to apply your expertise to projects in professional civil engineering environments. Roading & Transportation Engineering

· Roading and Transportation Engineering

Specialising in civil roading and transportation engineering, you will be able to work from a sound engineering base with sufficient skills to competently manage technical operations; liaise effectively with design and management professionals, clients, regulatory authorities and contractors; and have an understanding of different cultures and in particular an awareness and clear understanding of the tangata whenua and the implications of the Treaty of Waitangi and the Resource Management Act.

Second Year

In your second year all your papers will be specific to your specialisation, being either civil water and waste engineering or roading and transportation engineering.

Third Year

In your third and final year, you'll put all the skills and processes you've learned into completing a practical, industry based project. If you've gained employment then your project can be tailored to suit your workplace.
