뉴질랜드 비자 신청 시 비자 신청용 신검이 필요하죠.
- 뉴질랜드에 6개월 미만 머물 시 신검은 필요 없습니다.
- 뉴질랜드 에서 6개월 이상 머물 예정이면서 뉴질랜드 밖에서 6개월 이상 머물렀을 시 신검이 필요합니다.
- 만 11세 이상 유학생으로 학생비자 신청 시 가슴 엑스레이를 제출해야합니다.
- 학생비자, 비지터비자, 워크비자 신검은 3년 유효합니다.이

- 15 years old & over (medical exam, blood tests, chest X-ray): $270
- 15 years old & over (medical exam, blood tests): $205
- 11-14 years old (medical exam, blood tests): $160
- 0-10 years old (medical exam): $85
For any additional laboratory tests or other investigations (e.g. ECG) requested by Immigration New Zealand or by the examining doctor, there will be an extra charge. The reason and related cost for any extra tests will be discussed with you prior to the testing.
Appointment duration
Please allow yourself 90 minutes for your appointment with us (medical exam and the blood tests), even though for most applicants, they only require to spend 60 minutes at our clinic.
No appointment is required for the X-ray. Most applicants have the X-ray immediately after their medical exam and blood test at our clinic. Alternatively, you can have your x-ray at your convenience at any time during their business hours. However, you will need to advise us before presenting for your x-ray if you are doing it on a day that is not the same day as your physical examination, as we have to forward the necessary documentation to the radiology practice.
The staff at the radiology practice will need to see your PASSPORT.
Things to know for your appointment
You are NOT required to fast for the examination or the blood test so you should eat and drink normally. Please ensure you are well hydrated with water on the day of your medical.
Applicants under five do not need to give a urine test or blood test unless required by Immigration New Zealand.
Note for females
Your urine test will likely to be inaccurate if your menstrual period is within 2-3 days of the medical, as red blood cells will be detected by the sensitive dipstick test. Therefore it is worthwhile to book your medical at least 2-3 days before the start of your expected period or 2-3 days after the period finishes.
If you think you may be pregnant, please inform reception as you might not need to do the Chest X-ray.
Things to bring
❖ Your passport
❖ Glasses or corrective lenses for your vision
❖ Medication that you are taking
❖ Any previous medical / specialist reports related to your health that might be mandatory (or at least, helpful) as a supporting document.
Results
Our target is to submit your results in 3 working days after we have receive your results from the laboratory AND if they are all normal. Please note, Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays DO NOT count as a working day. In case of any abnormalities on your results, you will be required to follow it up with the examining doctor and/or have further testing. Again, we will discuss with you in detail what the requirements are by Immigration NZ if any part of your Medical is abnormal.
Any follow up appointments or additional testing will be charged separately as per our Fees Schedule listed on our website.
NZER number / Health case number
We aim to send you your unique NZER number on the next working day after your appointment. However if you need your NZER number urgently, please let us know on the day of your first appointment and we would be happy to provide it to you on the same day.
