뉴질랜드 인구 중 4명 중 1명은 신체적, 심리적, 감각적 또는 기타 유형의 장애가 있는 사
람입니다. 이 인구 중 일부를 돕는 데 열정을 가지고 있다면, 장애 지원이나 정신 건강 및 중독 지원 분야를 전문적으로 공부해보세요. 이 수업을 통해 두 가지 분야 중 하나를 선택하고 장애인을 돌보는 세부적인 세계에 진입하세요. 지원 노동자의 책임과 그들이 환자, 그들의 정신 건강 또는 장애적 도전, 그리고 그들의 와나우(가족)를 어떻게 돌보는지에 대해 배우세요.
One in four New Zealanders have some form of disability, whether it is physical, psychological, sensory, or other kinds of disabilities. Pursue your passion in helping this part of our population and study to specialise in disability support or mental health and addiction support with this certificate.
Choose from one of two strands and get into the detailed world of caring for disabled people. Learn the responsibilities of support workers and how they care for their patients, their mental health or disability challenges, and their whanau.

두 가지 중 하나에 특화하세요: 장애 지원 또는 정신 건강 및 중독 지원.
각 전공은 해당 분야의 역할 요구 사항과 책임에 몰입시킵니다.
사용 가능한 전공에 대해 교과 과정 자문 담당자와 확인하세요.
학업을 마친 후에도 전공과 관계없이 노인 병원 또는 유사한 근무 환경에서 200시간의 실습을 수행하게 됩니다.
졸업 후, 2023년 7월 1일부터 시작되는 뉴질랜드 정부의 급여 평등 협정에 따라 최소 시급 28.25뉴질랜드 달러로 일할 수 있게 됩니다.
Specialise in one of two strands: Disability Support OR Mental Health and Addiction Support. Each strand will immerse you in role requirements within that field and its responsibilities.
Check with your Course Advisor which strand(s) are available. At the end of your studies, regardless of your strand, you will undertake 200 hours of work placement at an aged care facility or similar working environment.
Upon graduation, you will be able to work with a minimum pay of $28.25 an hour according to the New Zealand Government’s pay parity agreement (starting from 1 July 2023).

This programme requires students to have access to a laptop/desktop that can connect to the internet with a web browser and a required minimum screen size of 10 inches.
